Lies Ouwerkerk is a freelance travel writer and photographer. Originally from The Netherlands, she now lives in Montreal, Canada. Previously a columnist for The Sherbrooke Record, she is currently the Independent Travel columnist for Transitions Abroad’s TAzine. Lies is a member of NATJA, The North American Travel Journalists Association.
